Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks
July 12th, 2023 by Aubree

Web poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers receive 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original wager, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with a figure equal to the original wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The house pays out chips equal to your wager and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
