Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in an excellent game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, not like most other poker games that players bet with other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their mulla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, beginners are able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty choices.

It’s also simpler to play for a long time with only a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the croupier receives seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
