Online poker has become globally famous lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many variations on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier announcing "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players acquire five cards each. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the wager comes the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, plus an amount on par with the original wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays chips equal to your wager and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
