Caribbean Poker Protocols and Pointers
April 7th, 2016 by Aubree

Poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the different players acquire five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet is the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays money even with your ante and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
