Online poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers are given 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure on par with the initial wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pony’s up chips even with your original bet and controlled odds on your call bet.
