Poker Aces references two aces being dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest possible before theflop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this a good many bettors find themselves on the losing end when given these cards.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just do not fold pre-flop. You are positioned with the greatest achievable hand at this stage of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I’d say definitely no to that.
Always remember, you’re trying to acquire as much profit from this strong position. You will want to maximise the possibility. Going all-in will basically scare most competitors into folding before placing a bet.
If you’re in the starting position (first or 2nd to actually bet), you will make a single bet. Any player with a decent hand will call, hopefully someone might raise. If there has been a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, wait for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your tactic will be to get rid of anyone that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you are fortunate you will fool one player into thinking that you’re bluffing.
If you are in the middle or later seat (one of the last to wager) you will watch as every player calls and then raise. Even though you’re sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Guard your hand by making others to drop out following the flop. If you don’t force out your competition you risk squandering your hand.
